Who is responsible for your data

What we collect and why

When you send an enquiry we collect your name, email, phone number, project postcode, project details, budget band, timescale and how you heard about us. We use them only to reply to you, to understand your project and, if you become a client, to deliver our services. Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries.

When you book a Clarity Session, our booking provider (Cal.com) and payment provider (Stripe) process your booking and payment details under their own privacy policies.

Where it’s stored

Enquiries are stored in our Google Workspace (Google Sheets and Gmail). The website is hosted by Cloudflare, which also protects the enquiry form from spam using Turnstile.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that don’t lead to work are deleted after 24 months. Client records are kept for as long as the law requires for tax, insurance and building-safety purposes. [Confirm retention periods.]

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or object to how we use it, by emailing us. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).

Cookies

This site uses no advertising or tracking cookies and no analytics cookies. If you switch between light and dark mode, your choice is remembered in your browser’s local storage — it never leaves your device. The enquiry form’s spam check (Cloudflare Turnstile) may set a strictly necessary cookie to tell people from bots.
